Iory Roach Memorial 2019

On Friday 11 December, the Iory Roach Memorial darts competition was held for the fourth time at the Gate Inn, Scleddau, in memory of a very popular darts player who for many years was also chairman of the NPDL. This year saw another excellent turnout with 36 players. Even better, the number women players taking part in this Mixed Doubles competition went up once again: 22 men and 14 women. At this rate it shouldn’t be too long before we reach 50:50, which would be ideal, of course.

The final was fought out between:

Nicola Wilson (Shamrock) & Carl Slocombe (Coach B) – Winners

Karen Llewellyn (Cross Inn) & Ashley Lovell (Gate B) – Runners-up

An excellent £108 in total was raised for charity.
