HANDICAP KNOCKOUT RESULTS

NPDL Men’s Darts – Handicap Knockout

The 2016-17 Mens’ Darts season came to a conclusion with the Handicap Knockout, which this year was held at the Shamrock, with teams from both the “A” and “B” league competing against each other. Not surprisingly, given the excellent turnout of 12 teams, the venue was extremely busy and the atmosphere electric. After all, this is the competition that makes giant-killing results a very real prospect. And sure enough, newly crowned “B” league champions Coach House “B” took full advantage of a 160 handicap to win their semi-final against Pendre “C”, who have just become “A” league champions for the third year in succession. The final was very close, with Coach “B” squeezing through 4:3 against Pendre “A”.

Results:

Semis:
Coach House B (541) v. Pendre C (701) 4:0
Pendre A (641) v. Gate B (561) 4:2

Final
Coach House B 4:3 Pendre A

Congratulations: Gary Hall 180, Tom Glover 110 out, Peter Coleman 100 out, Mike Burns (unluckily) 139 bust
